Recording Local History

All this month at New Quay Community Warm Hub we invite local people to come in and tell their stories about living in New Quay. It can be about life in the village, your family history, major events, childhood memories. In fact, anything related to the history of New Quay. We would love to hear your stories and help save important local information for posterity.

We will record you telling your story on paper, audio or video (you choose). We will take copies of any photographs or documents you are willing to share and publish it for all to see on our web site.

You can come in alone or with friends. Although no appointment is needed, we may give you an appointment for another day to ensure we give you the attention you deserve.

The warm hub is open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am until 3pm and Friday 10am until 12. We provide free hot drinks and biscuits and a warm comfortable environment to relax and have a chat.

If any local historians wish to be involved with this project to help conduct interviews or collate information, please contact our Development Officer (John) on 01545 909585.
