A Host of New Groups Due to Start in New Quay

Plans are well underway to start a host of new groups, clubs and activities in New Quay. The initial focus is on families and young people but all age ranges are included in our Warm Hub project.

From the Community Hub project at the Memorial Hall, we give a Warm Welcome to the following groups:

Baby Massage – Mondays.
Chat and Play – Mondays.
Storytime – Starting March, age up to 8.
Adran Yr Urdd – Mondays (monthly), starting 18^th March, age 8-11.
Football kickabout – Thursdays, starting 22^nd February, age 11-13
Youth Club – Fridays 4-8pm, starting 22^nd March, age 12-16

Please use the form below to register your interest in one or more of these groups. You will be added to our newsletter mailing list and will be the first to know when the groups are looking for members. If you help in one of these groups, you will be guaranteed a place at the top of the waiting list.

These groups need a lot of things to start up from scratch, New Quay Memorial Hall and the Community Hub will provide much of that but we need you to join in as a parent AND as a helper. You will be well paid in smiles and thank-yous from the people you help.

All of these groups will be run by volunteers, usually but not always, parents and grandparents. Leaders in these groups will need DBS checking and appropriate training, we can help with that by accessing funding, networking with other organisations etc. Assistants however, just need a willingness to turn up and help.
